What is a MIDI File?
A MIDI file contains what the composer (or the person who played it) did at his/her music keyboard. It keeps track of which note was pressed, when it was pressed, for how long, and at what pressure. Playing back a MIDI file would need a device that can generate the sound on its own (ex. electric keyboard, computer w/ a sound card). The note data is sent to the device, which then generates the sounds. A MIDI file can be edited on any PC (ex. changing the instrument from a piano to an oboe). You have far more flexibility with MIDI files. You can change the tempo, key, repeat sections, remove sections, etc., unlike an MP3 file.
NOTE:
These MIDI files are not intended to print out as sheet music. You can import them into notation software, but the music will not appear correctly between bar lines. They are files taking from the actual performance of Bradley Joseph and are intended for "playback" type applications (ex. to play a keyboard at church for services), for analysis of his work, and to experiment with in your own recording software (ex. Performer, Cakewalk, etc.).
We will email your MIDI File within 48 hrs after receiving your order.
